Oofos Recovery Sandals Review

I’m usually not one to splurge on sandals, so I was super excited to get to try a pair from Oofos. I expected it to be better than my usual $5 pair for sure, but it was even better than I ever expected!

For a little backstory, I fractured my ankle a few weeks before the sandals came and had been walking around in a boot the whole time. It was almost impossible to put weight on my ankle without the support of the boot. But once the sandals came, I was too excited and just wanted to try them on to make sure they fit. So I slid them on and decided to stand on them for a bit and was shocked to realize, that my ankle didn’t hurt at all in them. It felt just like the material in my boot!

I walked around a little bit but didn’t wanna push it too much. A week later, I had my boot off and tapered down to a support brace. The Oofos became my everywhere sandals while in my brace. It gave me a nice gentle cushion and helped absorb the impact while walking. It is an amazing sandal for recovery. I can’t wait to see how they feel with an unfractured ankle! I’ll for sure be bringing these as my post race shoes ( once I can run again).

I am in love with these sandals! So much so I wanna buy another pair, and one for my aging parents, and boyfriend, for everybody! I’d definitely say they’re worth the price tag!
