So excited to get to try out Nuun’s new Rest hydration line. Nuun is already my go to hyrdration for running and hikes, so I’ve been eyeing these for a while. I got to try 2 of their flavors, Blackberry Vanilla and Lemon Chamomile.

So this new line contains magnesium, potassium and tart-cherry to help with rest and recover. Each tube comes with 10 tablets. A special note here, it’s recommended to dissolve in 4-6 oz. of water, less than the usual recommended amount for their other tablets. Also since it’s more for rest/recovery and people like to take it before bed or later in the evening during down times, a lot of people like it a lot better with warm water. The warm water also helps it dissolve better because of the ingredients in this Rest line. I like to treat it like a late night tea. It’s great for pre bedtime routines, rest days and even to reduce stress.

Some highlights:
1 tablet = 10 calories & 1g of sugar
No artificial sweeteners
Non-GMO verified ingredients
Helps reduce exercise induced inflammation
Supports overall muscle relaxation
Aids relaxation response

Overall I really like this new line. I’m usually a night owl and the Blackberry Vanilla lulls me right to sleep before bed. I also love the lemon chamomile’s tartness and usually have this one on my R&R days. Both work great for rest or recovery, but I like different flavors for different types of days. It took a little bit for me to notice the real effects, they were subtle at first but I definitely notice an improvement in my sleep these days. I’d definitely recommend these!
